“I graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Law) from UTS in 2009 and I was fortunate enough to obtain a clerkship at Minter Ellison. I finished my clerkship and worked at ninemsn as a paralegal in the legal team. I was then offered a graduate role at Minter Ellison and I worked in the Commercial & Regulatory Group as an intellectual property lawyer.

At Minters I worked on deals, acted in complex trade mark disputes, worked in large consumer litigation matters and advised ASX100 company clients on intellectual property and privacy law. Minters seconded me to SingTel Optus where I worked as Corporate Counsel for 12 months and assisted the company with commercial advice.

Now I am a partner at Australia’s only out loud and proud LGBTI law firm and I feel like UTS and Minter Ellison prepared me for a career as a successful lawyer and court advocate that contributes to society in many ways. In that regard, I now find myself on multiple boards where I facilitate access to justice.”
